I completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Resource and Environmental Management in 2004 from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
Throughout my University degree I studied GIS and spatial analysis and have more than 10 years work experience in the spatial industry. I like challenges and continually expanding
my knowledge and skills.
My passion for the environment led me to pursue a degree focussing on environmental management. I have gained experience in an office environment as well as in the field working with other organizations and individuals from many different backgrounds.
My positions with the Queensland Government and Hobart City Council have expanded my geospatial knowledge and procedures in environmental planning and policy. I would like to contribute to environmental policy and planning by using my expertise in GIS to find the best solutions in these fields. I enjoy using spatial analysis to assist in complex environmental planning and policy creation.
I love teaching others and am recognized as a resource person with knowledge in many facets. Being able to share my knowledge and experience with others is very rewarding.
I have extensive skills in many geomatics disciplines which can be found on my skills page.
